INFO

Rhythm Method is the premier classic rock cover band throughout Illinois. Based on the North Side of Chicago, they perform hit covers and deep tracks from the '60s (Beatles, Stones, Zeppelin), '70s-'80s (Petty, Mellencamp, Springsteen, Queen, Van Morrison, AC/DC), '90s (Cake, Sublime, Weezer), and much more. This seven-piece energetic rock band consists of piano, guitar, bass, drums, and a horn section.
We play wonderful songs of the past the way they should be played in the present. No silly outfits. No rapid-fire medleys. No ironic covers. No gimmicks. Just timeless music played by great musicians.
On a snowy winter night, a group of talented yet struggling musicians purchased their bus tickets to Memphis in hopes of becoming country stars. They soon gave up on this dream, deciding to get off in Champaign instead and pursue a college education. They started playing covers.
The poet laureates of rock 'n' roll. The voice of the promise of the '06 counterculture. The guys who forced folk and ska into bed with rock and acid jazz, who donned makeup and mustaches in '07 and disappeared into a haze of substance abuse, who emerged to 'find Jesus,' who were written off as has-beens by the end of '08, and who suddenly shifted gears and released some of the strongest music of their career beginning in the early '10s.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is Chicago's own Rhythm Method.
